I would recommend this book to all my pregnant friends. It is clearly written and informative about all the various procedures and options on labor and giving birth. After reading the book I had a positive view of labor and giving birth, as well as knowledge on how to handle the various stages of labor. Needless to say, I was ale to give birth naturally (no epidural, drugs, etc.) with the help of this book!

Amazing book! really empowering! I have read many books on this topic, both Jewish and secular, and this one is the best! Biological clarity, mindset shifts and practical suggestions that can transform your labor experience as it did mine. I reread it many times and highly recommended this book to many expecting mothers, who later thanked me!

I bought this book because I was petrified to give birth when I was pregnant with my first baby and it was highly recommended to me to read. I am so happy I did! Many of the insights and points in the book is focused on how to have a “natural” birth however even if you choose not go to natural, this book had a lot to offer! I personally was planning on having an epidural but read this book anyway and learned a lot!! In the end, you know know what will happen in the delivery room and my Hospital actually couldn’t get an anesthesiologist to give me an epidural for a few hours and I went into the last stage of labor “natural”. I was only able to cope and endure the pain using the techniques and guidance and inspiration of this book!!! I would recommend it to anyone! It is empowering and extremely informative!
