The power of tranquility by Rabbi Yedid is probably the clearest book on life. The book speaks to every person at any level. It’s a book that really changes the way you think and gives you a better understanding on life and how to deal with yourself. It’s a book that really changed my life and gave me peace of mind. Rabbi meyer yedid is one of the Gedolim of this world.
David Hammer –
I have to say this is one of the best books on mussar I have read! I usually find many of them too abstract and rooted in nebulous constructs of thought. Yet, having read the first chapter so far this past shabbat, I can tell Rabbi Yedid has made this book’s teachings comprehendible by tying them to personal stories and practice. I am look to continue my journey of proper self-exploration and recommend this book for anyone, especially teenagers and young adults who wish to lead a life of kiddish Hashem through their own orthodox identity.
