This book written for children contains lots of witty stories. The illustrations are very attractive. Some stories are just one or two pages long. Each page has four boxes with people and balloons indicating what they are saying, as in a comic book. In the first story, which is two pages long, twins tell a neighbor that they are not “exactly the same age” because one of them is five minutes younger than the other. They also say that they like to help two old people. How? By helping them eat their cookies. Page 96, to site another example, is a one page tale where one mother tells another that they go to the doctor more often in the summer than in the winter. Why? Because the office is air conditioned. Page 89, to give a last example shows a son asking his mother how come she knew he was home from school. The picture shows how she knew: his clothes, shoes, and books were dropped all over the floor. It can be seen by these examples that the stories are really jokes that children will enjoy.
