Description

“The Rogatchover was a unique Torah Gadol. There was no one like him, not in his generation or in previous generations.”

Rav Yosef Rosen zt”l (1858-1936), one of the most prominent Rabbanim of the previous generation, was known as “The Rogatchover Gaon”. Rav in Dvinsk, Latvia, he authored the Tzofnas Paneach on the Rambam and wrote more than 50,000 teshuvos, apparently making him the most prolific writer of teshuvos in Jewish history. He was admired by all Gedolei Yisrael of his generation.

The author of this work, Rav Yair Borochov, researched the work, character and history of the Rogatchover for three decades and has published many works and articles on the subject.

This book is a significant milestone in the study of this great Gaon. It includes information about the Rogatchover that is printed here for the very first time:

This deluxe volume includes 815 pictures and documents, most that are printed here for the first time. It features valuable information culled from more than 370 articles published during the Rogatchover’s lifetime and translated from Yiddish for the first time, dozens of interviews, thousands of new facts, documentation of the Rogatchover’s relationship with Gedolei Yisrael and many more interesting revelations.
