Description

Drawing from the unique teachings of Rav Avigdor Miller, this fresh and engaging sefer on the weekly parashah presents practical life lessons and encourages readers to develop their own. These Torah concepts, informed by keen psychological insight, will help readers internalize middos tovos and fundamental truths and guide them on the path of genuine growth in their service of Hashem—broadening their perspective, inspiring yiras Shamayim, and enriching their relationships with others. Min Hamayim: Drawing from the Depths is the perfect companion for the Shabbos table and every occasion.

“Anyone who utilizes this sefer to discuss its ideas with his family at the Shabbos table will derive great benefit and sanctify their Shabbos meals in a profound way.”
Rav Reuven Feinstein, Rosh Yeshiva, Yeshiva Staten Island

“I have seen your sefer on the parshiyos of the Torah, full of precious and pleasant words that attract the heart to fear of Heaven and to good character, written in a tasteful manner and clear explanation, with easy and pure language.”
Rav Yitzchak Sorotzkin, Rosh Yeshiva, Mesivta of Lakewood and Telz

About the author:
Rabbi Moshe Kramer grew up in Brooklyn, New York. His family davened in the shul of Rabbi Avigdor Miller, zt”l, in Flatbush, and he sat in the row right near this great rav, often sitting on his lap. Rabbi Kramer has semichah from Rabbi Dovid Feinstein, zt”l, and has been in Yeshiva of Staten Island for over two decades. He has been greatly influenced by its rosh yeshiva, Rabbi Reuven Feinstein, shlita, and the great mussar giants Rabbi Gershon Weiss, zt”l, and Rabbi Chaim Mintz, shlita. He attended the shiurim of Rabbi Yerucham Olshin, shlita, and the shmuessen of Rabbi Matisayahu Salomon, zt”l, in Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood. He currently lives in Staten Island and is a prominent member of YSI Kollel.
