Rav Yeshaya Steiner, more commonly known as Reb Shayele of Kerestir, was renowned for his tzidkus and chessed. The mitzvah of hachnasas orchim, hosting and feeding hungry Jews, in particular, was very ose to his heart, and the stories told about this are astounding.
