Inner Space: Introduction to Kabbalah, Meditation, and Prophecy
By Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan | Edited by Abraham Sutton

Product Description:
Inner Space offers a profound and accessible introduction to the depths of Jewish mysticism. In the first section, Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan explores the foundational Kabbalistic concepts—such as the spiritual worlds (Olamot), the dynamic relationship between the physical and spiritual realms, and the workings of Divine Providence. These teachings illuminate how one can draw closer to Hashem through understanding the spiritual architecture of existence.

In the second part, Rabbi Kaplan delves into the mysterious vision of the Merkavah (Chariot) from the book of Yechezkel (Ezekiel), revealing the connection between prophecy and meditation. He explains that all genuine prophecy emerges through meditative practice, and he outlines the intense spiritual preparation required for a prophet.

With his signature clarity and depth, Rabbi Kaplan presents complex mystical ideas in a way that is both intellectually rigorous and spiritually uplifting.

If you were to read one book in the subject of Kabbalah, read this! Rabbi Kaplan was a brilliant mind and a practicing Kabbalist who had a gift to write about difficult and obscure subject in a way that leaves one stricken with new understanding and in owe for something bigger than we can grasp

This is a very complex book on Kabbalah, but it does a great job explaining the many layers. I enjoyed reading this book and finished it. I was a little sad that it wasn’t longer as I really got into it, but I could always read it again as it is incredibly complex and has a lot of depth to it. It would be something you could definitely read more than once. The information is very dense so you do need lots of focus to read this book. Enjoy!

“Inner Space” is highly recommended for those seeking an introduction to authentic kabbalah. It contains transcripts of a series of lectures on the kabbalistic system given by Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan, a great teacher of the previous generation, and it testifies to his wonderful ability to transmit profound ideas in a readily-graspable way. Although this is an introductory text, it contains many perspectives that are expressed in a unique way, so it would be quite valuable even for the more advanced student of Jewish mysticism.”Inner Space” was edited and annotated by Rabbi Avraham Sutton, a disciple of Rabbi Kaplan who has become a great teacher of the inner Jewish traditions in his own right. Today he teaches in Jerusalem, where I merited to meet him, and was deeply impressed by his humility, generosity, kindness, and Torah learning.

For those who seek, this book will resonate deeply and is a compelling read. The information is incredible and mid blowing. Well written in a style that flows! Have a good highlighter and perhaps a notepad and pen handy when you read this one as there is just an abundance of mind blowing information and truth within. Highly recommend

As a new convert to Judaism, I am unfamiliar with most aspects of spiritual levels of the Kaballah. I find this book to be a revelation to me; a starting point for a lifetime of study. This is a very detailed series of lectures given by Aryeh Kaplan prior to his death. He weaves basic Torah teachings with 5th dimensional insight to prophesy and a basic understnding of the Purpose of man and his importance to Hashem. Kaplan does this effortlessly by using everyday examples to explain the visions and wisdom of the sages.

Author of the True Sayings of Jesus: the Nazarene Paradigm recommends Inner Space
Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan was probably the greatest Kabbalist of the last century. It would be impossible to understand Kabbalah or the Torah without referring to the Rabbi Kaplan’s work. This book should be read in conjunction with his work on the Sephar Yetzirah. I could not have written the ‘True Sayings of Jesus: the Nazarene Paradigm’ without reference to Rabbi Kaplan’s work. Thanks also to the supplier! Arrived in good condition on time!

    straordinario !
